On the quest for common ground in conflicts in our vital relationships at work and home
I spoke recently about the quest for common ground, particularly how elusive it can seem when vital working relationships have devolved into bitterness and noncommunication.
I wanted the audience to feel the importance and hopeful nature of the quest itself while also encouraging them to re-think the meaning of “common ground.” I also wanted to bring the quest for common ground out of the political arena and into our meeting rooms, mediation rooms, and living rooms.
