When I'm teaching a conflict management workshop, I like to ask the audience to share what things people do during conflict that drive them up the wall. After initial hesitation to share this, a few brave souls raise their hands, and then the floodgates open. I quickly track the growing list on the whiteboard.
I like this activity because it's eye-opening. There is some overlap, yes, but even the most homogeneous audiences have a wide array of behaviors that can aggravate them.
